Recently I have started to using Youtube ro listening training. BBC documentary and Natinal geographic documentary are my favorite now. I can not understand some(most) of what the reporters are saying but will maybe continue to listen to them.

After lunch I went to a post office to transfer pay money for the travel company. And then I headed to a big second hand book shops where some of the books sold are only 105 yen. It was not very easy to pick up books you like to read but anyway I chosen roughly 10 books for about 1,000 yen. When choosing books I tried to include at least one book written by familiar author. They always feels like an lottery or adventure.

I had no plan to go out nor any other schedule for christmas eve. So I was thinking that I would spent the evening as usual. However at 15 o'clock a christmas celebrating e-mail from a female friend who I am not very intimate with arrived. The sentence written looked nice so I changed tiny part of it and sent it forward to my ex-girlfriend. In less than one hour she replied with a warming massage. And in the night I chatted with Mr.Y by skype at the same time had conversation with another female friend. Though I could not have psysical communication it was a nice day.

A busy shopping mall

I decided to purchase an air plane ticket. At around two o'clock in the afternoon I went out the house headding to a shooping mall nearby. As I got nearer to it many cars were waiting in line from its entrance. They probably came to buy new-year stuff. After some time at last I came into its parking and found that it was very busy.

Bird watchers

Recently I am communicating through e-mails with one of a few female friends. In addition to it she seemed more arogant to me than before. I am thinking of what to do to her in the near future.

On the way to our farm we saw an aqquintance who manage the district. I pulled over near him and reported about the task he asked to do yesterday. Durign the conversation I was being inside the car and he was standing outside. Later my mum told me to stand outside cars when speak to somebody. I imagined his feeling and thought I would do that next time. As I am a rude person with no experience in proper jobs I have to at least comply with these rules. Imagining vice versa I would be offended, mabe.

Yesterday I read an article about life style stuff on a blog where its writer said he changed his jogging task from the first in the morning to after noon. The reason, he explained, was that his freelance job sitting next to PC is done very smoothly when he does it first in the morning. Reading it and thinking about the preciousness of morning time I decided to do the same today. If it will be nice I may be continue to do this training first in the morning as soon as I get up.

When We arrived at our field a middle-aged man who exerts influence around this district came to talk to us. He asked me if I wanted to lent a piece of paddy field nearby, which would not be used next year by the current farmer. I got surprised as I had said No to other ones before and understood the situation where there are not many people eager to borrow it. I want to use it but at the same time am very nervous that weather I could manage it or not because I already have borrowed a field via his mediation. I did not said no instantly and replied that I was going to think of it. However, I probably do not borrow the additional one.

On the way to our field my mum said that I had to return the cultivator which I had borrowed from Mr.S some one month before. Hering the comment I got very nervous that he would need it, maybe this moment. So I decided to make tasks that needed it my first priority and restructured today's task. Some time passed and when he came to see us I told him that I would return it until this weekend. But his reply was "You can keep it untill next year". I got relieved as he looed to think so without any doubt.

At about 10 o'clock in the morning my mum and I went to a Japanese mat shop and received used then rolled up skins of mats, that are made from a kind of weed. Getting back to the field I started to build a rim for fallen leaves compost hammering spiles in the earth. The total number of spiles were only seven pieces but I got very tired as the job needed motion of rarely used muscles.

And around midnight I was woke up by an mild asthma attack and could not sleep for a while as breathing air with my body laid down on bed was difficult. He saw me light a cigarette and said that when he had been an office worker he and his colleagues worked smoking many cigarettes in their office breathing out gray puff. This is his favorite story that I heard before. He climbed a corporate lador smoothly and became an exactive officer. Thinking about the rapid growth of the old days the notion that smoking cigarettes in offices are harmful for job effectiveness may be wrong. But it harms your health is probably true.

A friend with depression

Last nioght an e-mail from a friend has been sent to my account. She said that she had to talk with somebody urgently as the conditon of her depression was getting severer these days. I do not have any mobiles but has a skype account. I thought we could talk over the skype line but for a moment hesitated telling her my account. She has sometimes appeared to be too sticky. But as I am a lonely guy and has a tendency to be depressed as well, I thought again and replied with a skype link. I do not know what will happen next. As her condition has been very volatile it is possible that she will never answer my e-mail.

With big smile he said he needed some help to carry timber boards, which he said would be used to make compost of fallen leaves. he put the boards on our truck and we together headed to a small orchard. There he opened his car's truck and brought out big plastic bags filled with fallen leaves. He said that they were stocked at a garbage yard near his house and the actition to pick them up there made his nervous though it was agreed among those who live in his community. I know the feeling as I did the same before and said it is embarassing for me too.

When I was entering our field I saw and speak to an acquaintance walking a tiny, black fashionable dog. He is a kind of leader around here and I sometimes am given some advice from him. I talked him about my plan about drainage in the new field. Some weeks before he had agreed that the union gave me a drain tube and the promise was done today. At a shared hut he showed me the tube that is about 3 meters long and its diameter is about 15 centimeters. I was surprised at the hugeness. Swiftly I carried it to my truck by myself. Though I do know when I will place it in the new field I am satisfied cheking the tough looking tube.

Today when I was walking through his field he stopped me and showed me a huge stone saying it weighed roughly 500 kilograms. So I picked up some trash half buried along its border and made small part of its central path even. The tasks took lesst than 30 minutes but the outcome was not small. Chestnut tree

At 11:45 my mum, my dad and I went to our small orchard to plant a young chestnut tree. There is already one in the garden in our house but it will be cut off this winter as it has grown too big, contacting public evectric cable over the public road. At first it was planed for him to inplant a piece of branch into new one but the idea somehow vanished. I concluded his obsession was not very strong.

We started fire with firewood and put two steal chimeneis on it. And then the chimenies was coverd with the shell for smoking. The expected duration of the job is about nine hours.

When I went to a place where cut wood inplanted with the muchroom bacteria are placed I found a huge piece of the muchroom. It seemed to have grown to the size after the two days of decent rain fall. A around 10 o'clock in the morning I went to rice mill and receive milled 14 packs of rice. The mini truck where they put the rice on has no roof and the sky looked to begin raining. The chestnut tree in the garden has began to ripe. Everyday some pieces of chestnuts falls to the road below. I am asked to pick them up every morning by my dad. This morning when I went to the tree I found some empty shells left on the road. The chestnuts which shoud have been inside were missing. When I reported it to my mum she replied that very early in every morning an unknown person frequently come to the tree by small bike to pick them up. Short commuting from my house there are some fields for growing rice or vegetable available almost for free. And I has been thinking about whether rent some or not. It is a very difficult decision as I do not know the life as a farmer. But I think the job has a possibility to realise a life with long vacation time, that will be monthes from November to March. I am not very confident that I can make enough living or some money doing the job. But there is definitely a hope . I am going to try it. In reality there is almost no risks as the land rent fee is very small and you also can use farming machines for very low cost ,which is shared by a kind of farm union members.
